She studied painting at Kutztown University and has continued her education by attending many workshops given by internationally known, professional watercolors artists. Pat's background experience includes employment in graphic design with a prominent advertising agency. She is the owner of Reeder Studio, where she once worked on on a freelance basis in advertising, and currently uses as her fine art studio. After more than ten years in advertising and graphic design, Pat's creative sprit contin- ued to grow, as she developed a deep interest in fine art, with a cocentr- ation in watercolor painting. She recently retired, after working for si- xteen years as Art Gallery Director for a local college, while she simult- aneously continued to produce beautiful paintings in her studio. The visual arts have always been very important to her, and in an effort to promote the arts in the community, patserved on the board of several art organizations, which resulted in the forming of three local Co-op Art Galleries. She has had numerous SOLO EXHIBITS of her work and | | | | | | | | | | continues to show her paintings in local, regional and national juried competitions. Her original watercolor paintings are represented in GALLERIES throughout Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia and they are prized by many Corporations, as well as, private collect- ors. Over the years, Pat has received man AWARDS for her work. Sev- eral of these award winning paintings have been reproduced and are available in signed/Numbered Limited Edition" prints. In 2001, Pat was listed in the "INTERNATIONAL WHO'S WHO OF PROFESSIONAL AND BUSINESS WOMEN", for her dedicated contributions in the field of Graphic and Fine Art. Pat's expert use of washes, glazing techniques and attention to detail, all combine a great sense of depth in her watercolor paintings. |
